There are hundreds of screen caps here! But they stop right before the tractor is approaching.

I saw this movie for the first time Memorial Day weekend, and the day after I watched, I suddenly found myself compelled to cap, which meant watching it again.

Gee. Darn. Smile

Anyway, here's what I have in my Photobucket account so far. I may upload some more, and update again later.

I feel with you. I know it can be very hard to be a true fangirl Wink

Thanks for the great caps. They make me want to see the film again and again and.... what sacrifices we bring! Rolling Eyes

Wink Wink Very Happy Very Happy

My DVD is going to get worn out far too soon!
Maybe I should buy this one in quantity! It's worth it!

Back-up Withnails, now that's smart. One should always have a ready supply of the basic necessities of life! Very Happy

Thank you, thank you for the caps Nancy! *sigh* Love this film.

>basic necessities of life<

IMO that describes ALL PMG works! Let's see, when
we finally get home, I get planning permission to build
my own personal PMG/McGann brothers library-about
the size of Harrods/ Knightsbridge. That should be big
enough to house all the DVDs and their "back-ups". Do
you think? Or should it be bigger? Wink

And then there's just finding time to watch them! The Birthday
Marathons alone. Whew! So far, Mark's only takes a whole day
-so far. But, Paul's? Whew! Takes a good week-if I go at it all
day-each day for the whole week. It's loads of fun-getting
"Paul-Blitzed" like that, though! Very Happy ( I should buy shares in the
entire ice cream industry! It's all the chocolate ice cream I eat
whilst watching "my guys"! Very Happy

Sorry-rambling. Still in MMG overload! Very Happy

Catherine

I'm glad you guys are enjoying the caps--I certainly enjoyed taking them Smile I'm at my parents' right now, helping to go through my grandparents' things (they just moved into an independent living facility in Florida, deciding not to return to Pennsylvania to go through things themselves--can't really say I'd want to do that at 90, either!), so I'm usually tired when we get done over there for the day, but when I have a second, I'll post some more. I think I have several that aren't, um...totally redundant to the ones above (and boy, what a nightmare, having to look through all of them to see! Wink ).

As for multiple copies of Withnail, I see I really have landed in the right place. One of my friends looked at me like I was nuts when DeepDiscountDVD had their big sale last month, and I said "Would it really be that crazy to own both the Region 1 and the Region 2 DVDs?" Little does she know!! Clearly, I should have asked here first! Smile

I found a few mintues this afternoon, so here are the rest--hopefully not too many for one post! There are too many to try to keep them in order, so they're a bit jumbled. Sorry about that!

They are great! Please, don't apologise for the
out-of-order bit! They look great in any order!
Thanks!

I think, for me, one of the most unusual results
of that delightful shaving scene is that my son learnt
how to shave from it! ( I should print out a copy
of those pics and tease him with them! He's now the
same age Paul was when he did Withnail & I!).

Being a single mum wasn't as hard as people think.
Still, I'm grateful to Paul for proving to Simon that I
was telling the truth about how to shave! Laughing Laughing
Bet Paul never thought of that little "side-effect"! Smile

Catherine ( BTW-Simon loves the movie!)

You're quite welcome! It was fun looking through them all again Smile I didn't realize that the caps in the green shirt were larger than the others, but it does explain why they're not as clear. I should go redo them at the right size, though it took forEVer to get those two. Sigh.

Really? That's pretty amazing--I would never have thought to do such a thing, having not even the first idea how to teach a guy to shave! (Well, okay, maybe in desperation I would have come up with it!)

I am inordinately fond of that scene, as if anyone around here hasn't already figured that out! Smile

There are not many people who understand and that's why this is such a lovely place. Here people don't say: Paul who? Nor do they think that you are a bit nuts when you confess that you have watched Hornblower for the 1000th time. And that's why I think that it is quite normal to have more than one copy of a film. They tend to wear out and than what?

Thanks for your caps! Very Happy

Indeed--and that's a wonderful thing Smile
