Ello~ The name is Sleuth and I am a girl, but feel free to call me any variation of spy/detective related names. I'll even answer to Sherlock or Holmes (second favorite man next to Paul, 'cept Jeremy Brett is dead). I'm 17, but I've always held a respect for the older, more accomplished and talented actors which is why I'm such a big fan of Paul's. First saw him in the Doctor Who movie (as I'm admittedly one of the select few American teens who actually watches it) and fell in love with him there, but I must say, Lt. Bush and Marwood are my new favorites. What can I say? The man has talent and looks!

And maybe if I hang around here long enough, I might at least have a chance at meeting his son. ;D

Happy to be aboard!

Hi, Sleuth, and welcome!! I also love Paul playing all the characters you mentioned.

If you register for the upcoming ChicagoTARDIS con to be held over Thanksgiving weekend, then you will get to meet Paul--he's the first registered guest!!

Check out www.chicagotardis.com Very Happy

I saw that and I really do wish I could go, but I'm afraid I'll only be 18 then and living on a parent-funded college budget. I don't know how I'll even make the trip and going by myself doesn't seem so wise. I'm a 5'2'', 106 lb Jewish girl. Easy target.

Maybe I'll get to meet him for ChicagoTARDIS '13 if I'm lucky lol

Alas, I'll have to settle for pictures and stories until then.

Hi and welcome Sleuth!! Very Happy

Perhaps you can also check out "The Hanging Gale" which has all four McGann brothers. Very sad story about the Irish potato famine but worthwhile viewing.

Lt. Bush and Marwood are definitely favorites of mine.

Let's see... so fat I've seen Dr. Who, Withnail & I, Forgotten, Catherine the Great, Fairytale (skipped to the bits with Paul to prevent shooting myself), Lie With Me, Horatio Hornblower (all Paul eps), and Queen of the Damned

Netflix has been a huge help and I highly recommend it. Though if someone here is the person who refuses to send back Dealers, please return it so others can enjoy it ):

Years ago, I purchased an old VHS tape of Dealers from a local video store which was going out of business.

I have to admit, it was a lucky find.....

Lucky! I imagine I'll get to see it one of these days. :/ *crosses fingers* Seeing a younger Paul makes me feel less weird about my crush on him.

Welcome aboard, Sleuth! Michelle's right, it's good to 'see' so many new 'faces.' And what a great time to join up, what with us suddenly discovering that Paul is going to be at Chicago TARDIS!

I really do want to go, but I don't think I'll be able to make it unless I confess my love for Paul to an old roommate living up in Chicago

It might be worth it

Hi Sleuth! I was in college when I started going to conventions. I had no money, no jobs, and my parents' money was tied up with my college stuff. Somehow I made it to Chicago, Columbus, New Orleans, and Alabama. Luckily, I had some older friends who did have jobs (and cars) and I paid them back as I could. It was great fun, I made a friend at the con in Chicago in 1982 and we are still best friends today.

If you possibly can swing it, it's a good life experience. Since it's over Thanksgiving weekend, maybe someone from your college might be driving to Chicago...

Hey Sleuth! It sounds like you're off to a wonderful start on the Paul-watching front! And never mind the years' difference - he's a classy, gorgeous man that any woman of taste would admire! You're just showing you have good sense too!
