Last year I e-mailed Mark McNulty and asked to purchase a copy of this picture of Paul that's posted at the McGann Brothers website:

He was unable to find the original print and instead sent me these three lovelies. Very Happy

I absolutely love the second one. His eyes match his shirt. So cool!

This is my favorite, too. Smile

But that third one ... where he's crouched down staring at the camera. Intense. Shocked

Mark McNulty posted this other version of the bearded Paul piccy in his blog and wrote that the photo was taken around 1989 inside the wreck of the old Isle Of Man Ferry waiting rooms.

He's so intense looking - with just a hint of mischief lurking in the corners! Lovely photo Estelle!

Wow! What wonderful photo, Estelle!

Thanks for sharing. Very Happy

Beardy Paul is very intense, and very handsome. (Actually, he looks a bit like a few grad students I know... Smile Smile )

Although my preference for a clean-shaven Paul is well-documented Very Happy I still think I'd like to see him with longer, curly hair and a beard. The short hair here is maybe what's put me off a bit - but of course that is relative (I'm just able to refrain from clawing into the computer after him...) Laughing

Sounds to me like we'll be sharing a suite at the clinic! He does have that effect on people! Laughing

You may be interested to know that I have another photo from the series! I came across it today - it's black and white, quite a serious looking Paul, but the same shoot. There was a set of four that I got, one of each brother so when I can i'll post the four up here, though I'm sure it's the one of Paul you will be interested in most.

Thanks, Michelle!! It's cool that Mark was photographing all of the brothers during that shoot.

I'm actually trying to figure if they were all shot in the same place - i'll check if Mark can remember.

I bought the pics through the 'appreciation society', which was where Mark sold a lot of his pics back then. It's hard to say if they were in the same place as they are all quite close up pics. I'll check with the boys too and see if they can remember.

Estelle, I may need to e-mail them to you and ask you to post them as I no longer have a photobucket account - do you mind?
