You know, as wretched an outfit as that was Marwood was wearing when they first went to visit Monty (i.e. the one in the last photo), I thought Paul looked adorable in it.

The last image reminds me of an article, entitled 'Whistler and Me'. that's archived here. Here's an exerpt:

"Sensing that this was their big chance, Grant and McGann really got stuck in and made the most of it. 'They were both well up to speed,' [Richard] Griffiths says. 'They were like baby sharks, the two of them, and I was just holding my end up, as it were. "

I love the image of Paul and REG as baby sharks, circling around the hapless
Richard Griffiths (i.e. Uncle Monty) . Makes me think about the music on Jaws. Dun-da-dun-da !
