I would be in such trouble if my priest looked like that! Wink

Paul is really in top form here isn't he - the hair especially. He has the lovliest locks! *sigh!*

I STILL haven't seen this film! I finally own it on DVD but it came as region 1, though it was advertised as region 2, so I can't play it. I paid on some website to get the know-how to change my dvd player to all-region but it didn't work Crying or Very sad

Do you have a laptop? If so, could you play it there? I don't have a DVD player at all, but both Simon and I can play DVDs (all 5 regions) on both laptops.

He was in top form, for sure. Beautiful hair ! And those eyes!!
I like the gardening pictures --it's getting on to spring you know.

Michelle, is your dvd player older or newer? If your dvd player is a multi region player, you can set its code to zero and then, if the dvd itself is somewhat multi region compliant, it can be played.

Older dvd players don't let you set them to zero. But some of the specific players are multi region and they can be set.

I've got a cyberhome mini dvd player.

Here's the steps I used to make mine a multi region code.

1. Turn on.
2. Open and close the tray w/o the disk on it.
3. Press setup Menu and then immediately press 1, immediately 9
4. You will see a Zone menu.
Press the region you want (0=MULTI)
Press Enter
5 Press OPEN/CLOSE tray.
6. Now you should be able to play any region dvd.

I never did manage to unlock my dvd even though I paid to download the info on how to do it!

However, I gave in tonight and changed the region code on the pc which can be done easily but my husband wasn't keen on me doing.

And so to the film.....

Paul, Steve and Mark all together in something new (to me)..........

I'm off to lie down, will comment more tomorrow Shocked

I think the region code can be changed five times on a pc before it locks. For some reason, I thought UK DVD players could handle region 1 disks.

Anyway, I think you'll enjoy seeing Paul, Steve, and Mark together. The film is not of Hanging Gale quality but is watchable. However, I know some people who fast forward to the parts that Paul is in. Smile

I actually really enjoyed the film - I thought Catherine Zeta Jones would be worse than she was so that was a surprise Laughing

I thought the guys looked amazing but then don't they always?! It was good to see them in something together again, though a shame Joe wasn't in it too. Having said that, I couldn't imagine him fitting in to it either, not his sort of role I don't feel.

I can apparently change my pc code 4 times before it locks but my husband checked today and he can still play his games on here so we'll keep it as a region 1. I don't often watch dvd's on here so it will be my 'Catherine The Great' viewing post from now on Smile

Like I have my Rainbow viewing computer? Laughing There are just a few things that need rewatching on a regular basis and just about anything Paul-related qualifies. Catherine is especially pleasurable because Paul changes his appearance - and character sort of - so it's like a bonus feature.
