Greetings all, found your site surfing.
I'm a Goth girl who discovered teh Paul back in 2002 when I went to see Queen of the Damned. He's been 'my little obsession' ever since. Twisted Evil

Hiya and welcome to this bit of McGanned patch! Smile What did you think of Queen of the Damned? Since I hadn't read any of Anne Rice's vampire books before seeing QotD (although I did buy the latter novel), I had no preconceived notions about Paul's character. However, I thought it would have been cooler if he had played Marius.

I liked the movie, but then I like most vampire movies unless they really suck,(no pun intended Very Happy ).It is veeeeeery loosely based on some of the events in the book as well as some of The Vampire LeStat as well.
I've read all of the books, and unlike some really hardcore AnneFans liked both the movies and the books. As for the characters, they are nothing like the characters in the book QOTD, LeStat is a sort of combination Louis/LeStat, Jesse and David are both waaaaaay younger in the movie, and Marius is a bit of a fop with a sense of humour as opposed to the wise and dignified ancient from the book(s).
Teh Paul as Marius? hmm, never thought about that...although a friend of mine after seeing him angst in Catherine the Great thought he would have made a good Louis.
When I saw the QOTD and saw him as David I was like "Oooh, he's cute!" and went on to see everything he was in that I could get my hands on.

Hmm, well I've seen all the Hornblower movies with him in them, Dealers, Paper mask, Fairytale, Doctor Who, Withnail & I, Catherine the great, Queen of the Damned, Rainbow ( Shocked Damn!), Sea of Souls:Rebound, Tripping over, Three Musketeers, Poirot:Sad Cypress.
And I've got all the Big Finish 8th Doctor Dr Who audios up to date. (yeah, I'm a bit obsessed, but what can I say, the man is seriously hot and has a great voice.)

Hey, PAW! Yes, it's what my friends and I like to call 'voice porn.' Paul's voice is lovely and it's seriously just not fair.

Welcome!

Oh by the way, you guys can call me Kat.
Pretentious art whore is what my group called me when I used to run an RPG, it was my 'Storyteller style' when I ran Vampire: The
Masquerade
, apparently. I was heavy on detail, flavor text and role playing as opposed to dice rolling.
