As I'm one of the last people on the planet to still have a working VHS player I guess I'll start looking in earnest

*puts up hand* Me too Melissa!
Some of the movies I have are still on VHS tapes so until they all come out on DVD, I'm keeping the VCR. Laughing

I've ordered 'Paper Mask' on VHS too. I don't even have a VCR! My parents do, so I go and see it at the old homestead. I can always go home for obsolete technology. My mom still listens to audio cassettes...

I think I'm one of the few who enjoyed Seduction of a Priest for my own bizarre reasons. I liked it enough that I even made a little video about poor Father Lorenzo -- doing bad things to various people -- not meaning to of course, to the tune of---"Please don't let me be misunderstood".

Keeping in with the sense of humour, you know, when the Inquisition winds up being the heroes of the movie, you gotta admit, that's a pretty amusing twisted way of looking at things.

You have to watch it like you'd watch a B movie, with a sense of humour.
And yeah, I think it could use a mystery sci 3000.

Hey, we should do a serious audio commentary to that movie.
Oh man, that would be cool.

If you do it, could I tempt you to put it on youtube? Twisted Evil
Everyone tells me what a terrible movie it is, but I really would like to see it. Or at least clips of it. I think I did read the "The Monk", and didn't like it much. (Though the ending: I can't say that he didn't get what he deserved Confused )

Sounds like a movie due for serious snarking! (I've yet to watch it but I'm rubbing my hands in gleeful expectation!) I read the book to and thought it had possibilities but certainly didn't live up to them! The whole thing sort of fell apart in the middle as I remember, making me think the author had lost his nerve.

Definitely a YouTube candidate! Laughing

Maybe we could do a coordinated viewing with cell phones in hand for witty repartee. Or else chat live on IM while viewing the film and keep track of the snarkiest comments. Smile

Is it sad that I've done that for lots of things? Crying or Very sad Just shows that the majority of my friends aren't local, I guess ...
