*slaps hands*

Right, mostly I have to admit because I'm a bit of a lurker. That and though I was introduced to PMG's work back in the 1990's with Doctor Who, I didn't really see much of his stuff after that unless he was in something I was already watching. Though I never did forget him or that I thought he was fab.

So, compared to many people's stories and thoughts here, I've felt a bit of a novice. *blushes* In fact, I only just saw Withnail & I two weeks ago. Then I finally watched The Rainbow. I had seen Queen of the Damned a bit back and though I loved Paul in it...had to admit a small gripe at the time for how oddly cast he was in the role. Especially when the character was supposed to be in his 60's. *shrugs*

So, a week ago, I finally watched a couple Horatio Hornblowers he was in (Muntiny and Retribution -- Loyalty and Duty should be arriving Monday for watching -- yay!) so now I feel a bit more on par with others here in the list.

Still, I have very little to say compared to some. I admit my opinion is mostly based on Doctor Who, because that is the most exposure I've had to him -- the movie and Big Finish audios. I've also never met the man or said two words to him (I have posted a question a while back on the doctor who online forum), and frankly I think I'd turn into a pile of goo if I ever had the good fortune and he'd wonder who *was* this lunatic American woman.

So, I'll just wave hello and say hi, and though I may not post very much, I am reading and loving it here. Very Happy

Welcome Aeryn!!!! It's ok, I'm a newbie myself. That fact that you were even aware of him, is a step in the right direction.

There's a whole new world for you to explore and I am sure you will love it. You'll find a lot of your liking on the shelves of the library; there are so many good films to see. Enjoy! Smile
