I adore Paul in this role. Very much the 'everyman' and just so darn cute trying to be heroic.

I finally watched this yesterday, and I totally love Paul in this role. I even like his hair, and I'm usually all about the curls (see Catherine the Great). I love how he and the girl, Rosie, kept arguing, even in the last part of the movie in the hospital. And the little boy was so cute.

I'm so glad I got the dvd from amazon.uk, and it was worth every penny, or should I say pound?

Yes, he's very sweet and vulnerable as Rob, and I enjoy seeing him in this role as well. However, I'm not sure that Paul thinks very highly of this movie since he told some PMEBers who met him back in 1998 after the Sabina play not to waste their money buying a copy of the film and to nick one instead. LOL!

I'd nick one in a New York Minute if a cop that looked like Paul was doing the cuffing! Twisted Evil Or the Gene Genie (Philip Glenister) from Life on Mars, a very close second!

It is a very "cheesy", predictable, paint-by-numbers type action movie. It's the type of movie that's so bad it's good, you know? Plus, I work with cops and Paul and the other guy remind me of some guys I know.

Yes, he is Bruce Willis "like" in this and I just want to mention that Downtime is running here right now at a PayTv and some say that if they do that may be they run at the normal tv later, too!
