These caps are lovely. It's relaxing me from a stressful day (yet again) just to look at them! I can never see enough of his gushiness, and really, W&I just cracks me up every time I think about it!

And thanks for the green shirt pic - it was worth the extra time! Laughing

Akka, you haven't seen Withnail & I?
Oh, it's a must! You must see it.
It is available in dvd Region 2.
I am sure you could rent it from a video/dvd store.

The screenplay is available on a few websites, then translate to German through babel fish, maybe Question . A wonderful script.

Here's one website that has screenplay, but there are others too.

I thought so too, when I finally managed to hit "pause" at just the right time! I wish I'd done it at a window size with better resolution, though. Maybe someday when I'm really bored I'll give it another try Smile

I'm glad you're enjoying the caps--I think this is one of the fastest "favorite movies" I've ever experienced. The credits hadn't finished when I knew I was in love with it.

Thanks! It's really his expressions that make the movie, isn't it? I love the red sweater. He should wear more red Smile

Beautiful screencaps! Sigh... My favorite movie. It always makes me laugh and I never get tired of it.

Hee, I love the giggling sleeping Marwood one!

And by the way, I own the Region 1 and Region 2 discs! I think the Criterion R1 has a much better picture quality, but the R2 has Paul's audio commentary, so a fangirl NEEDS to have both. Cool

I love that one too--it's so so cute!! Though, speaking of sleep in this movie, there's been one thing that has bothered me since the first time that I watched it, which is this: If you were Marwood, and you knew that Monty was quite likely not going to leave you alone while you're attempting to sleep...wouldn't you be wearing absolutely every stitch of clothing you own, and then some?? I know I sure would!!

I only have the R2 disc for now, but I'm sure I'll end up with the R1 at some point--after all, you have to have one that's loanable so you can hook your friends Wink

Wonderful screencaps so far, I hope you don't mind posting some of my favourites. Very Happy

That's just before the wind blows his lovely curly hair from his forehead.

He looks really dirty. Wink

More dirty Marwood with a smirk. And the eyes.

wet Marwood

I love the scarf around his neck, makes him look great.

Do I see the smirk again?

Marwood gives us the big eyes and the pouting.

Did I tell you about my weekness for rolled up sleeves and muscular male forearms? Wink I really don't care about the chicken fleas.

More forearms. Just to see the vein on his left arm sticking out makes my heart aflutter. Me sick? Who knows.

The last for today. Marwood in profile.

Not at all! Forearms are a wondrous thing, I agree--and hooray for someone else who loves the lovely curly hair! Smile

Well, were are those other W&I pics. Yep, found 'em. Very Happy

That's the one and only time that I don't mind the smoking. Cool Good handshot as well. Wink

Thud-worthy

I heart Marwood. drool

Look who's hiding in my bed. Cool

Absolutely sweet. From the awkward 'Monty/pinny' scene.

I hope you forgive me. The hair is gone. Crying or Very sad

I believe I came across caps from this film before I actually saw it for the first time (I've watched it enough since May that it's all a blur now!) and was distressed by that cap from the end. It still makes me sad, but I guess I'm mostly over it now! Especially since it could be a lot worse! Smile
