Daniel Day Lewis might be the tall fellow to his right.

I was hoping someone might say this! Talking to Paul, he said Daniel Day Lewis did this concert with him. I then came home and found the programme and saw he was right. It was 1987, Daniel Day Lewis wasn't a name then, but when I showed my husband the photos he thought that might be him.

I thought Paul was going to be it. He'd done the Monocled Mutineer (the controversial Alan Bleasdale TV series about a WWI deserter), he was the sexiest fu**g man on earth

and so say all of us! Laughing Laughing Laughing

HEEHEEHEE! Those pictures - all of them but especially the big black and white one of Mark - just caused a gigglefit of glee. EEE! Thank you for sharing Sam! Laughing Laughing Laughing

I have a brand new computer! I should christen the hard drive right now with a sprinkling of your Mark McGann photos! Heehee!

Oh, and Michelle - just look at your ruby red lips in those pics with Paul! You girls are both adorable in all of these. What lucky guys the McGanns were, and still are. Razz (And heeee, guitar!Mark, cute!)

Hi guys,

You may have noticed that I've removed some of the photos I had posted - namely the ones from 1987 Beatles Convention. I'd also request that Estelle remove the copy of my favourite picture from that time if possible. If anyone has copied them could I just request that no-one publishes them anywhere.

I e-mailed Paul some pictures (from the same sessions and time) last week that I'd like to use on the website and he has asked me to hold some photos back that he'd rather not have published. I now don't feel comfortable having those photos published anywhere else knowing how he feels. I'm sorry, but I hope you can understand this.

Hi Everyone

Following Michelle's email from Paul last week I have also removed the pics of him from the 1987 Beatles Convention.

To compensate for our actions I have attached an early pic of him that I think you may all approve of Very Happy

Enjoy!

Can't remember who "Hillier's" was. Think the pic was from a teen magazine.

Aw thanks Sam--you guys are much too good to us, compensating us that way. You and Michelle are the bees knees--and the McGann guys are really lucky they have someone they can depend on to adhere to their wishes, too.

Wow, talk about a young Paul! I would probably ID him looking like that, were I selling to him at work... Wink Having to pull those pics just means more of the stuff I was so curious to see--so a not a problemo, ladies! Very Happy Thanks again!

It's nice that he is giving you feedback about his picture preferences.

I always tend to think our own individual photo preferences of ourselves are so subjective. That is, how we see ourselves, how we want others to see us, how we think others percieve us, and what we choose for people to see of us. It's interesting to think about why we like people to see one picture over another. I prefer showing my goofy-clownish side where I may be wearing a funny hat, holding a chainsaw prop or standing next to an incredibly tacky statue or something, rather than a more serious, photogenically flattering (not that there are many of those) picture. Wink

Thanks for the compensation, it didn't go amiss!

ID that young fella, Teri!

OMG, there's a Blue Heron walking gingerly around on the grass outside the window! Man, he's got a beak on him--or her!

Done. Michelle, I want to thank you and Sam for posting so many cool pictures in this thread. 'Hillier's Hunk', huh? I definitely agree with the hunk part. Smile

Sam & Michelle, this is so great of you to share these wonderful memories of yourselves with the McGanns!!!

I don't know what else to say or another way of thanking you, so I just stop right here before I say something inane.

Michelle-

I've no idea what you look like now, but everytime I look at these photos, I think how young you look! You all look so fresh-faced and happy - what a great series of photos!

Very Happy
